goat rodeo

While mommy's mind is away, the monkey will play.

This is what I get for spending too much time on the internet oogling at the lovely blogs out there. Yes, all of your blogs keep me captivated, envious and motivated. I look up to see Keegan rearranging the kitchen. If you are in need of a kitchen elf for the holidays just let me know. I can send him right over!

I also spent a good portion of yesterday trying to get a picture to send out with our Christmas cards. It's really like a goat rodeo. (I'm sure not everyone knows what this is, but just imagine trying to run around and catch goats. It's just like that.) Makena was going one way, Keegan the other. Makena wanted to love on Keegan, Keegan wanted to get away. Then the dogs were running around in the background. Ugh. Here's the evidence.

Now I don't mind a candid picture. That's essentially what I'm going for, but give me a break! Is it really possible to catch a one year old and two year old in a picture together? Does anyone have any suggestions?

We drive up to the snow to take our kids picture for Christmas every year. I think they are too loaded down with snow clothes and it's too cold to run away. Although, last year Luke had just turned one and it was quite difficult. sorry, I'm no help. good luck!

How funny! I know what you mean....can't get them to even pose, let alone look at the camera. Cupcakes always works with my bub.
