I didn't get much crafting done today. A stitch here and there on the scarf but mostly I dedicated my day to organizing my craft corner. Yes, I said craft corner. Oh, how I long for a craft room which I can call my own. With pretty little shelves nicely organized with Ikea jars and baskets. I've already picked out my paint colors, art and furniture. Now all I need is a craft room. You see we moved into a three bedroom house and all of the bedrooms are used as such. No room for a craft room. So currently my little space is in the corner of my bedroom. It's my little corner where I stash my small piles of recently purchased fabric, notions and all things craft related. The rest goes into the master bedroom closet. Are you feeling me? Does anyone feel my pain?
Today I organized my space. This was a major accomplishment for me since my craft corner had turned into the catch all corner. Company coming over? Toss the junk into the catch all corner. Laundry need to be folded? Toss it into the catch all corner. Something broken and needs to be glued? Toss it into the catch all corner. Bills to be paid? Toss them into the catch all corner where they will certainly get lost. You get the picture. I'm very happy with my little space now. It's just perfect, it's all mine.

Your lucky to have a dedicated corner, I have a tendency to perch on a sofa or in the kitchen. Have a fabulous Christmas!
We just lost our house in August, and in it was my lovely, IKEA Jar lined room. I loved it so much. Now I have IKEA jars shoved in linen closets and it's quite different than I thought it would be.
It's a quaint lil corner! Miles, get her a BIGGER space! Looks good Jade! A place you call your own!
It looks great! I use the dining room table and store everything in a closet in my bedroom. Your space looks just perfect.
You will find that as soon as you have a craft room, you will suddenly give yourself license to buy anything because after all, you have tons of space! I am cleaning my room today because it's bad ;o)

I feel your pain! I'm longing for a craft room myself - desperately!!!
Since we both can't seem to have one, I must say I really like your crafty corner and I wish I could set up something similar.
