The bag came together really quick. It's a very simple tote bag and I'm even thinking of making more to use for shopping instead of the plastic bags. I used a fun Japanese fabric depicting some of the fairy tales. The pattern had one typo though that threw me for a loop for a good 30 minutes. Does this happen often? Friends, you know I'm new to this sewing thing. I corrected the pattern and was on my way.

Awesome! Great job! Patterns totally throw me off. I think a sewing class is in my future.
Cute bag! She will be one stylin' girl at dance class :)
Fab bag! I've got that book too, but haven't made anything from it yet.
Another book to put on my wishlist. You made a wonderful bag for your ballerina!
Lovely bag! I have plans to make a few grocery totes to supplement our supply. Can't wait!
I have been looking at buying the same book, there is a comment on Amazon that I read saying some of the patterns have glitches. But not insurmountable as you proved! Great fabric too!
Lovely bag and the fabric is a perfect choice!
