check out my new digs
You all know how proud I was of my little craft space before the holidays. I officially marked my territory in our master bedroom and made it mine. I put in a table and dusted off the sewing machine. Well I have been inspired and motivated to do more.
Since I've claimed my space I have put large holes, anchors and shelves in the wall to officially make it mine. There's no going back now. I've also added some books to my crafting library, art and fun fabric to my stash. Looks like 2008 may be a good year for crafting! Taking on new endeavors! Spending way too much money on fabric online! Losing a countless number of pins in the carpet! Keegan possibly swallowing buttons! Buying clothes in the store just for the fabric! Oh what a year this will be!
So I wanted to show you what I've done. Thanks to Ikea for affordable shelving and accessories. And thank you to the city of Round Rock for allowing Ikea to come to central Texas. This is beginning to sound like an acceptance speech for an awards ceremony. Golden Globes, where are you?

I'm just so proud that you've recovered from 'the incident' related to crafting that happened so long ago (you know - pin, sofa, ER)
Its been a long recovery but well worth it!
I love your space. And tell Miles that crafting incidents are a badge of honor. Phooey on him. :)
Just looking at those shelves I wondered if you would give a nod to Ikea... I have countless amounts of those jars... Oh IKEA... how I love thee...
And you! I love your blog and your craft space inspires me!
Very nice! I love that little table.
I miss the Golden Globes...
Well done!
Ooh, I love your new crafting space. So nice and neat...can you come over and organise mine? It's now looking like a rubbish tip.
I want to hear about "the incident"! I like the books and all of the fun things you have in the tall jars. And yay you for keeping it organized this long!
What a great space, being able to keep your machine out. Very tidy too!
